i am so loving this song and just bought her entire album that came out today. i'm also dragging my mom to see her in september in ann arbor. she is one of the best artists out there hands down and she puts on an amazing show.
all the amazing summer concerts have me jonesing so hard for some good shows. it's been a while since i've seen someone amazing (fleetwood mac) and my concert attendance has drastically decreased. i experienced some jealousy when our summer intern told us she attended a phish show last weekend. serious jealousy over the thought of going to a concert and grooving the night away!
when it's appropriate, luci will be my little concert buddy. i'll never forget one of my first concerts with my aunt lisa- def leppard in charlevoix. the air was thick with booze and herb, the jorts tight and the hair long and frosted. at nine, it was absolutely amazing! hey, maybe i was a little young but i turned out alright. several years later, trav and i took aunt lisa's kids carley and luke to their first concert at pine knob. jessica simpson, 2004. ok so not as cool as my experience, but carley and luke had a "chug off" of mountain dew in the parking lot and might have seen a few teeny boppers drinking some bartles and james.
i love the concert experience and really want to go to at least one show at pine knob this summer. i'm trying to get trav to go to dave matthews, but he's not the biggest fan. says they are too "fratty." i love their new album too so maybe i can convince him.
i miss my concert days a lot. the days of going to a show a week. ahhhhh... i'm nostalgic...
