updates

every week i get a new update from babycenter.com and this week's said "your ten month, three week old"
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! i hate that my baby is almost one. ONE!
i hate that i live for the weekends but with each passing week, my daughter is getting older.
i love watching her grow but i already ache for the feeling i had when she was teeny tiny and would sleep on me for hours.
yesterday she was a little off on her schedule. she slept for FOUR HOURS during a morning nap and was a bit lethargic (of course this meant she didn't want an afternoon nap. she fell asleep early for the night and got up at 3 and didn't go down until close to 430). anyway, back to the day, she wanted to cuddle a lot more and rested her tiny little head on my shoulder several times. i wanted to bottle that feeling! i wondered if she was getting sick but maybe was just catching up after a busy weekend. anyway, she's not much of a cuddler anymore so i'll take what i can get!
i'm thinking about her pending first birthday and know it's going to be bittersweet. it's such a milestone and cause for celebration, but at the same time, so sad too!
i was watching jon and kate at the gym again yesterday and when kate was lamenting about her babies turning five i started crying! what a sap. sweating bullets and sobbing over a tv show. i need to get a grip.
